You can make donations to support the Greyhounds and Greyhound Pet Adoption Northwest in several ways. You can name another person or pet that you want to honor or remember in your contribution. GPA Northwest will send an acknowledgement to you and to the person you direct us to notify on your behalf.

1. You can select whether you want to make a one-time contribution or a recurring donation that automatically creates a donation from you.
If you select a recurring donation, you can decide how much and how often you contribute.

2. You can select the program or work that you want to support by contributing to our General Fund, our Ellie's Fund or a Sponsorship to support a
Special Needs Greyhound.

General Fund

Our General Fund is used to provide all initial medical care, including spay, neuter, inoculations and dental treatment. This fund also supports our educational outreach and the organizational expenses of the chapter. These expenses include this website, the e-newsletter that we send out monthly and all of the printed materials that we provide to new adopters and the community. Donations into this fund are also used for outreach program expenses including travel and advertising.

The General Fund is also used to pay for medical care for Greyhounds that we take into our program. In this year alone, we have spent thousands of dollars to give our Greyhounds the chance to live a long happy life with their new families.

Ellie's Fund

We have created a special fund, known as Ellie's Fund, which is used for the care of Greyhounds in need of extraordinary medical care. This fund pays for the food, medical care and sometimes special housing needed for these dogs to reach their forever homes. Each year we spend several thousand dollars on this care and thanks to our generous contributors, we have never had to deny care to a Greyhound in need.

If you would like to make a contribution as a memoriam or an honorarium, please make a note below. Also let us know if you would like an acknowledgment sent, as well as the name and address of the person to receive that acknowledgment.

Sponsor A Greyhound

We know that not everyone is able to adopt or foster a Greyhound but you can still help these beautiful creatures. You can become a sponsor for the special dogs in our foster program. Sponsor a Greyhound for yourself or in someone else's name as a gift or memorial. Sponsorship can be rewarding for birthdays, anniversaries, school classrooms, retirement home residents and others who can't adopt their own Greyhound but want to be a part of our effort.

About Donations

Donations can only be accepted on credit cards; sorry, PayPal cannot be used.
If you already have a user account with our Greyt Stuff Shop you can use the same username and password you created there to make contributions here. If you don't have an account yet, all you need to do is set one up during the signup process. That keeps your personal information, such as name, address etc. secured by your password. Once you set up your account, you can use it again here or at our Greyt Stuff Shop to purchase fun and useful items for you and your Greyhound.
Your credit card and personal information is secure. We use First Data to process your credit card transactions and your credit card data is not stored our our server, it is only used to create your transaction on the First Data secure server.
If you select a recurring monthly donation, your credit card will be billed today for the amount you select, and then automatically every month for the next twelve months.
