Eli
is a beautiful dark brindle boy who broke his rear leg while
racing . He suffered a broken hock, which is a set of
small bones in his upper rear foot. The injury was severe
and it was splinted and left to heal. Because he still had
pain in his leg, the specialist cast the leg again for two
weeks to stabilize the bones and allow it to fully heal
without pain. After several weeks in the cast the specialist
determined that the bones were healed as well as possible.
Eli
is now in a home with a loving Mom and Dad, 2 small children
and an indoor cat. They have built Eli his very own
track around the children's swing set. Eli's mom calls him
her "LoveHound". For Eli, life is good, very good.
