Rock is a 10 1/2 year old black male who was recently given to GPA-NW to find him a new home. Rock is very timid, but is getting used to his foster home. Rock is in good medical condition but his timid nature and sensitivity to surroundings makes activities outside of his home environment unpleasant for him. He prefers to stay at home with his people and play in his own yard. He dances around when out in the yard and his wagging tail betrays that inside he is a happy guy.
Rock continues to be very timid, of new people, places and noises. He really seems to be much more secure with another dog. He enjoys the yard with his canine playmate. Rock is not likely to do well with small children because of his shyness. Rock was somewhat overweight when he came to GPA-NW and has slimmed down.
Rock found his home for life and is happily living with another greyhound in the comfort he deserves.
