Will is 11 years young and loves children! He loves to go for short walks and also loves to ride in the car. He's a very affectionate and enthusiastic dog and remains quite active for a senior Greyhound. He is very large at 80 pounds but has no excess weight, he is just a very big boy! Will towers above all others in stature, sweetness and personality.

Will would do best in a home with another greyhound or other larger (and gentle) dog who can keep him company. He has shown in his foster home that he can be trained to leave the cats alone, which means that his new family could have cats as long as they work with Will to teach him how to behave around them.

Will is an amazing boy with an enormous heart that is full of love. He would be the perfect companion for someone who likes to spend time in the yard on nice days and just relaxing on the couch on rainy days.

Will has been checked for a weakness in his back legs. Although he can romp and play, he has difficulty in some things like stairs and jumping. He also has some difficulty if he walks too far at one time. His tests showed that he has arthritis in his lower spine from the combination of an old injury and his age.

He is now taking a mild pain releiver daily to make him feel better and it has had immediate results. Will is much more comfortable and plays in the yard along with the younger dogs. Will is now ready to find his new home-for-life and should do just fine as long as he is not over excercised. He is getting older and would like to find those special people who will love him just the way he is.

Will found his perfect home-for-life and has been adopted. He fits in perfectly with his canine family and with his people. He is assured a life of comfot, love and relaxation.
