The fee that we charge for adoption of each Greyhound does not begin to cover our real costs. Rather than decrease the level of care we give each and every Greyhound, we have chosen to reach out to the community and ask for their support. We have two funds that you can contribute to that will directly support the care of our Greyhounds and the GPA program.
Sponsor A Senior
If you are not able to adopt at this time, you can still help our seniors by joining our Senior Sponsorship Program.
We urge you to consider helping these seniors as a Senior Sponsor. By becoming a Seniors Sponsor, not only will you help with the costs of caring for these special dogs but you will also gain a friend in the process. With your monthly donation, you will be updated on how all the seniors are doing and receive pictures of the seniors playing and living out their senior years in the comfort of their foster homes. You will also receive notification of the adoption of the Senior Greyhounds so that you can celebrate that new phase in their lives.

General Fund
Our General Fund is used to provide all initial medical care, including spay, neuter, inoculations and dental treatment. This fund also supports our educational outreach and the organizational expenses of the chapter. These expenses include this website, the newsletter that we send out quarterly and all of the printed materials that we provide to new adopters and the community. Donations into this fund are also used for outreach program expenses including travel and advertising.

Ellie's Fund
We have also created a special fund, known as Ellie's Fund, which is used for the care of Greyhounds in our foster program. This fund pays for the food, medical care and sometimes special housing needed for these dogs to reach their forever homes. Each year we spend several thousand dollars on this care and thanks to our generous contributors, we have never had to deny care to a Greyhound in need.
