anchor-toysWhile cleaning the house one day, Anchors owner stacked two dog-beds next to the toy box. Anchor discovered that if he climbed on top of the two dog-beds, he could rest his head on the toys and have full access to playing and napping at the same time.

Our family adopted two rescued greyhounds about six years ago. Maxx (Maximum Velocity) now 11-years-old, and Minni (Minimum Velocity) 7-years-old. Both are cat, people, and other dogs friendly. Unfortunately, Maxx suffered from a stroke (brought on by allergy treatments) 4 years ago which has left him blind. You wouldn't know it. He's learned to live quite well with his disability even though he's a sight dog.

minni2Shortly after our male Greyhound Maxx's stroke, we rescued four baby kittens - 3 days old.

Once the kittens were able to eat on their own and move about, Maxx and Minni immediately adopted all four as their children. Both make sure that the kittens (now cats) are in their beds before they go to sleep at night. If a cat gets out of the house and into the backyard, Minni uses her nose to herd them to the back door so we can let them inside. It's amazing!
