Great Global Greyhound Walk in Corvallis is one of the hundreds of groups participating in this year’s Great Global Greyhound Walk, which includes greyhound groups from around the world, all walking on the same day.  Currently, 38 countries have registered, with many having multiple cities and states taking part.  This annual walk is a worldwide celebration of greyhounds, lurchers and other sighthounds, bringing together thousands of dogs and their owners for one special day each year. These walks help raise awareness of sighthounds as gentle, loving pets and promote greyhound adoption and rehoming.

Meet with others in the parking lot of the Crystal Lake Sports Field at 11:15, the walk should take no more than 1 hours. All Greyhounds, Sighthounds (and a few greyhound wannabes) are welcome. We will stroll along the shaded path along the Willamette River.
